Salads

Yogurt salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 small cucumber chopped into small cubes
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 / 4 cup water
  • 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint
Preparation

  1. In a bowl place the garlic, salt and yogurt. By fork, mix and add gradually water.
  2. Add the cucumber and mint.
  3. Serve this cold salad with Rise and chicken.


Mushroom salad



Ingredients:
  • 1 head broccoli separated into small flowers 
  • 1 cup mushroom shopped  slices 
  • 1 small carrot shredded
  • 2 tbs pesto cream sauce 
  • 1 ts salt
  • 1 ts ground black pepper 
  •  3 tbs extra olive oil
preparation:
  1. Preheat the oven on broil.
  2. Place the broccoli, mushroom in a resealable bag. Add the oil, salt and black pepper, close the bag and shake to mix.
  3. Pour into a tray and broil for 15 minutes with stir after each 5 minutes.
  4. Serve with pesto cream sauce and decorate with carrot. 



Spinach Salad



Ingredients:

  • 1 medium red tomato chopped into wings
  • 1 small red onion chopped into wings
  • 1/2 small lettuce chopped into big pieces 
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup broccoli chopped to small pieces 
The dressing

  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tbs extra olive oil
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 ts salt
  • 1 ts dried Basil 
preparation:

     In a big dish, arrange all ingredients properly. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients of the dressing.
mix very well and distribute the dressing over the vegetables.




Tabouli




Ingredients

  • 1 cup of tap water
  • 1/2 cup of white bulgur NO:1
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cups finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 4 scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 lettuce wraps finely chopped flat

Preparation

  1. Combine water and bulgur in a small saucepan,  and let stand until the water is absorbed and the bulgur is tender, 15 minutes or according to package directions. If any water remains, drain bulgur in a fine-mesh sieve. Transfer to a large bowl.
  2. Combine lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Add parsley, mint, tomatoes, lettuce wraps and scallions to the bulgur. Add the dressing and toss. Serve at room temperature.









Beiwaz

Beiwaz Kind of  salad


Ingredient 
  • 1 bundle of Parsley finely chopped
  • 1 big red onion (wings)
  • 1 big firm Tomato (wings)
  • salt for taste
  • pinch of Sumac
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
Directions
         Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and stir very well.
serve this salad with Shawarma, Shish Taouk and Kabob.





Happy Salad



Ingredients:

  • 1 medium red tomato chopped into wings

  • 1/2 head lettuce chopped into big pieces 
  • 1 small cucumber chopped into half circles 
  • 1 big carrot into thin circles
  • black olive cut into halves 
  •  2 green onion 
The dressing

  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tbs extra olive oil
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 ts salt
  • 1 ts dried Basil
  • 1 ts apple cider vinegar 
preparation:
     In a big dish, arrange all ingredients properly. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients of the dressing.
mix very well and distribute the dressing over the vegetables.
