Cupcakes


Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cups flour
  •  2/3 cups sugar
  • Cup cake pan
  • Icing
Preparation

  1. preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. In a large bowl mix butter, sugar, eggs. milk, vanilla. beat all these ingredients for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the flour and baking powder, mix them for 3 minutes.
  4. Place the liners in cupcake pan.
  5. Fill up the cupcake with the mixture for 2/3rd  the liner..
  6. 15 to 20 minutes you will need to baking the cupcakes.
  7. Decorate the top with icing.



Chocolate Cake



Ingredients:

  • 2 C sugar
  • 1 3/4 C all purpose flour
  • 3/4 C  dark cocoa
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 C milk
  • 1/2 C vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extra 
  • 1 C boiling water
Preparation:
  1. Heat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a baking pan.
  2. Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes.
  3.  Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin), Pour batter into prepared pans.
  4. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until wooden pick insert in the cake comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. 




Basbousa



Ingredient of paste
  • 1 cup of Semolina
  • 1/3 cup of water added to 2/3 cup of Yogurt
  • 2 tbls butter non salted
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 1 tbls Tahini
  • amount of Almond 
  • 2 tbls of syrup former preparation 
Ingredient of Syrup:
  • 2 cup of sugar  
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tea spoon of lemon juice
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
Preparation:
  1. First of all prepare the syrup. combine the sugar and water and cinnamon, stir in the same direction and put it on medium fire. and stop stir. 
  2. when the mixture start boiling, add 1 t.sp of lemon juice.
  3. let the syrup boil for 7 minutes and remove it from the fire then leave it cold. 
  4. Scened the paste. combine in a big bowl Semolina, sugar, butter, yogurt and 2 tbls  of syrup to give Basbousa  golden color.
  5. Mix ingredients together and let it for 30 minutes with plastic cover
  6. brush tray  by Tahini, pour the mixture in the tray. rate the surface of mixture and by use sharp knife shape the mixture to squares and arrange the Almond.
  7. put tray in per oven on 475 F for 30 minutes or until become golden.
  8. Add the syrup immediately  to Basbousa after gets out the oven.
  9. turn off the oven and returned the tray to oven until the paste drinks the syrup.

Banana Bread

Ingredients:
  • 1 3/4 cup of all purpose
  • 2/3 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of walnut crushed coarse
  • 1 cup of medium ripe mashed bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Preparation:
  1. Preheat  oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a loaf pan with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whip together eggs, sugar and butter
  4. Add the mixture flour gradually and walnut. Stir with spoon until consistency.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan, bake for 50 minutes.
  6.  Remove pan from oven, cool for 20 minutes before running a knife around outside edges.
  7. Remove the loaf from pan, and transfer to a wire rack to cool, add 30 minutes before slicing.
