Fish with vegetables




Ingredients:

  • 6 Talapia fillets 
  •  large carrots chopped into big pieces
  • 1  large squash chopped into big pieces 
  • 1 red onion (wings) 
  • 6 clove garlic mashed 
  • 1 ts cumin
  • 2 ts salt
  • 1/4 cup extra olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 ts black pepper
  • some leaves of green coriander



Preparation:

  1. Heat the oven to 400 F
  2. In a small bowl mix (garlic, salt, black pepper, cumin, lemon juice and olive oil)
  3. In non stick tray, arrange  the carrots, onions, squash and Talapia Fillet. Distribute the mixture on it by  hand. leave the Talapia in marinate for one hour. 
  4. Cover the tray with foil, place the tray in the oven for 25 minutes. 
  5. Remove the foil and leave the tray for extra 5 minutes in the oven.
  6. Serve with white Rice and decorate with green coriander leaves

Spinach Roll




Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Dough of pastry dough recipe ( see Pastry Dough Recipe )
  • 2 cup spinach leaves
  • 1 ts salt
  • 1 ts sumac
  • 1 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 egg yolk and 2 tbs milk

    Preparation:

    1. For filling, heat saucepan on medium temperature, add spinach leave and wait until just wilted.
    2. Drain the water from wilted spinach,trance it to bowl and let cool completely.
    3. Add salt, sumac and cheese.     
    4. Punch down the dough and shape it into a rectangular by use a rolling pin, stretching out as necessary to achieve a thin dough.
    5. Spread the mixture of spinach over the dough, roll it and seal the edge of dough with a little egg yolk.
    6. Allow to rest in a warm location for 30 minutes, after covered it with cling wrap.
    7. brush the crust with mixture of egg yolk and milk
    8. Bake in a 475 degree oven until crust is golden, about 10 minutes. 
    9. Cover the roll with towel for 10 minutes after get it out from oven to become mellow.

    Tips to lose weight without stress 1

    • Do not follow any diet. 
    • Do not do any exercises to loss weight. 
    • Eat every thing you want from all kinds of food.
    • Keep in your mind, loss weight is not a difficult task.
    • You have to be patient, confident and determined.
    First things first:
    • Do not pour the oil direct from the container, use table spoon to control the fat in your meal. 
    • Replace your big plate with smaller one.
    • Remove the  bread basket from the table. 
    • Choose dark color for your plate such as red , blue, green.....
    • Start your meal with a piece of fruit such as apple, banana ..... 
    • Second, eat a piece of meat, chicken or fish (roasted  or boiled).
    •  You can have some salad with the meat.
    • Add little amount of legumes to your salad.
    • last thing you can have some Carbohydrate such as Rise, Pasta ...
    • Do not watch TV, when you are eating.
    • Do not eat fast, take longer time chewing each bite .
    • Do exercises for fitness, about 10 to 15 minutes in the morning. 
    • Replace the juice with water.

    Eggs Bread



    Ingredients:
    •  600 ml  warm water
    •  70 grams  instant yeast bread
    • 24 grams salt
    • 24 grams milk powder
    •  80 grams butter
    • 1400 grams  flour
    •  80 grams  sugar
    •  4 eggs
    •  Note: Do not ever leave the salt with the yeast
    Preparation:
    1. Put all ingredients (except salt) in a mixing machine and knead
    2. Add water  to the dough and knead for 15 minutes
    3. Add salt and knead another 5 minutes
    4. Leave the dough in a warm place for an hour for brewing,  then knead again, and  left  for brewing for 15 additional minutes
    5. Form some figures such as birds, circles or Turtles  ... and grease them  with mixture of egg and 1 tbs milk. 
    6.  Put into the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 360: 400 F,  depending on the oven  and the bread size. 

    Spinach Salad


    Ingredients:

    • 1 medium red tomato chopped into wings
    • 1 small red onion chopped into wings
    • 1/2 small lettuce chopped into big pieces 
    • 1 cup spinach leaves
    • 1/2 cup broccoli chopped to small pieces 
    The dressing

    • 1 clove garlic minced
    • 2 tbs extra olive oil
    • 2 tbs lemon juice
    • 1 ts salt
    • 1 ts dried Basil 
    preparation:

         In a big dish, arrange all ingredients properly. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients of the dressing.
    mix very well and distribute the dressing over the vegetables.



    Libyan Beans

    Ingredients:
    • 1 C dried white kidney beans 
    • 1 medium onion chopped finely 
    • 6 clove garlic minced  
    • 2 tbs corn oil
    • 2 tbs  paste tomato
    • 2 ts salt as desired 
    • 1 ts black pepper 
    • 1 ts paprika 
    • 1 ts red hot chilli
    • 1 ts cumin 
    • 1/2 bundle coriander chopped finely 
    Preparation:
    1. In a deep bowl place the beans and pour tap water to cover all the beans completely. Set aside for two hours.
    2.   After 2 hours, drain the beans and place it in a big casserole pan. Add tap water again to cover the beans and put the casserole pan on high heat.
    3. Remove the white foam. Cover the casserole pan when the water boiled, lower the heat for less than medium and let the beans boil for 90 minutes.
    4. In a saucepan, add oil and fry the onion until tender. Add garlic, salt, all season except cumin, and add paste tomato and  1 cup of water. cover saucepan, let it boil for 5 minutes.
    5. drain boiled beans and put it in saucepan with sauce. stir and let boiled for 15 minutes on simmer heat.
    6. Finely, add cumin and  coriander. Garnish with fresh coriander. Serve with  French bread. 

    Happy Salad

    • 1 big carrot into thin circles
    • black olive cut into halves 
    •  2 green onion

    • 2 tbs lemon juice
    • 1 ts salt
    • 1 ts dried Basil
    • 1 ts apple cider vinegar 
    preparation:


         In a big dish, arrange all ingredients properly. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients of the dressing.

    Baklava

    Chocolate Cake



    Ingredients:

    • 2 C sugar
    • 1 3/4 C all purpose flour
    • 3/4 C  dark cocoa
    • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 C milk
    • 1/2 C vegetable oil
    • 2 tsp vanilla extra 
    • 1 C boiling water
    Preparation:
    1. Heat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a baking pan.
    2. Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes.
    3.  Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin), Pour batter into prepared pans.
    4. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until wooden pick insert in the cake comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack.
